Relationships
Relationships can be difficult but they are the heart of who we are as Christians. Christ died and rose again to restore relationships. Right relationships:
- glorify God;
- provide our greatest joy;
- require cultivation;
- may need healing;
- may need help.
God has provided help for us in our relationships:
- the power of His Spirit;
- the example of His Son;
- the wisdom of His word.
He has also provided counsel, direction, encouragement, example, guidance and support through:
- pastors, elders, deacons and staff;
- small groups and ministries and their leaders;
- other mature believers;
- adult Sunday school, books, audio and video classes.
- Shepherding Team: a team appointed by the Elders of Naperville Presbyterian Church (NPC) to help people have the kind of relationships that they desire and God desires for them. The Shepherding Team acts as a facilitator to help people find and utilize all the resources they need, both inside and outside of NPC, to help in their healing and growth during difficult relational times.
