Sunday Mornings

In our worship together at NPC, we give glory and praise to God as we remember and celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit.

On Sunday mornings, we hold two worship services, each lasting just over an hour. We have a very casual atmosphere & we always have coffee and occasionally donuts as well. Our services are contemporary in style and participatory in nature through the use of Scripture, prayer and music, the preaching of God's Word, and the celebration of the sacraments. At NPC, children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade participate in worship with their parents during the service and are dismissed to “FAITH APPS” (Kid's Church) during the message. Early childhood and nurseries are available throughout the morning services.

Wednesday Nights from 6:00 to 7:30pm

By becoming a member, you are first acknowledging your brokenness before a Holy God and trusting in Jesus Christ for eternal salvation. Secondly, you are making a commitment to the local church, both to serve in ministry and to be ministered to by the pastors, elders and other caring servants within the community.

If this is a step you would like to take, we invite you to take our membership class. Enjoy getting to know our senior pastor, Chris Hodge, and learn more about what it means to be a church member. Contact the church office for more information.

What time are the services?

Sunday Mornings at 9:00 and 10:30.

Do I need to dress up?

Only if you want to! You will find our community ranges every week from suits and dresses to jeans and flip flops. All are welcome.

What is there for kids on Sundays?

We have an infant nursery and classrooms during services through pre-k. Children K-5th are invited to FAITH APPS during the sermon portion of the service.
See Children's Ministry -Sunday Mornings for more information.

What are Sunday services like?

We have two identical services every Sunday morning. Each service lasts a little more than an hour and includes many aspects of worship including music, prayer & thanksgiving, confession of sin, scripture readings, Biblical teaching, and on specific Sundays, the sacraments of baptism and communion. Our musical style could be described as acoustic rock, finding value in both modern hymns as well as contemporary praise songs.

What if I am hearing impaired?

We have hearing assistance devices available; ask anyone as you come in and we can help you. We also have sign language interpretation available during our 8:30 service on the left side.

What does NPC believe?

We believe that we are all sinners without hope except for the salvation offered through Jesus Christ. We are theologically reformed and our beliefs are consistent with our denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America. For more specifics, check out What We Believe or our denomination's site.

Can I take Communion?

All who profess faith in Jesus Christ and dependence on Him for eternal salvation and are a member at an Evangelical church are welcome to take communion.

How do I get connected?

Check out Learn More for opportunities to learn more of what NPC is all about.
We have many communities all of which are always welcoming newcomers! Check out our Ministries page to see opportunities to connect for all ages.
