Our Early Childhood Team is dedicated to discipling and nurturing the youngest members of our congregation.
Each classroom will be staffed with at least two adults who love Jesus and children. All adults and college volunteers have been background checked and approved by Naperville Presbyterian Church. The teachers and assistants have the best interests of the children at heart.
When you arrive, a greeter will meet you to sign in your child. If you have an infant or toddler you will be asked for your cell phone number so you can be texted if your child needs you. Pagers are available if you do not have a cell phone or text package. If your child is in the nursery thru Pre K class you will be given an ID tag that matches the tag on your child. As a safety precaution, you must present this ID tag when you return to pick up your child. If you have a pager it should also be returned at this time. Children should be picked up promptly after the end of worship service.
Children (Infant through 5th Grade) will only be dismissed to a parent/guardian. Children will not be released to older siblings.
Please help us make our classrooms free of illness. We are aware that the choice whether or not to bring your child is often difficult. Please do not bring your child with any of the following symptoms or illnesses:
• A child is in the first 48 hours of the onset of a new illness
• A runny nose (green or yellow)
• Vomiting, Diarrhea or Fever in the last 24 hours
• Has an unexplained rash or skin infection, shows signs of conjunctivitis (pink eye) or any other contagious infection.
• On an antibiotic for less than 48 hours for a contagious infection
• Seems listless and/or exhibits a change in behavior
Please contact the church office at 630-961-0579 if your child contracts and exposes classes to chicken pox or other similar illnesses so we can notify other parents and properly clean and disinfect the room.
We ask that NO peanut or nut products come into the building due to the frequency of allergies among children.
