Sunday Mornings

In our worship together at NPC, we give glory and praise to God as we remember and celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit.

On Sunday mornings, our worship service starts at 9:00am and 11:00am each lasting just over an hour. We have a very casual atmosphere and we live stream our service for those who want to join without coming into the building during Covid.  Our service is contemporary in style and participatory in nature through the use of Scripture, prayer and music, the preaching of God's Word, and the celebration of the sacraments. At NPC, children participate in worship with their parents during the service. Early childhood and nurseries are not available while under Covid restrictions.  Sign up online to save your seat in the Sanctuary for the 9:00am or 11:00am service.

We are continually being made new by Jesus Christ. Find out more about Our Vision of the church.

Join NPC
Sunday mornings from 11am to 12pm

By becoming a member, you are first acknowledging your brokenness before a Holy God and trusting in Jesus Christ for eternal salvation. Secondly, you are making a commitment to the local church, both to serve in ministry and to be ministered to by the pastors, elders and other caring servants within the community.

If this is a step you would like to take, we invite you to take our membership class. Enjoy getting to know our pastor, Davy Chu, and learn more about what it means to be a church member. Contact the church office for more information.

FAQ

What time is the service?

In addition to livestreaming, we offer in-person services. Check our service times for the most current information. We kindly ask you to register each week that you plan to attend service.

Do I need to dress up?

Only if you want to! You will find our community ranges every week from suits and dresses to jeans and flip flops. All are welcome.

What is there for kids on Sundays?

While we do not currently have nursery care or class offerings for children, they are always welcome and encouraged to join their families for worship.

What are Sunday services like?

Our services currently last about an hour and includes many aspects of worship including music, prayer & thanksgiving, confession of sin, Scripture readings, Biblical teaching, and on specific Sundays, the sacraments of baptism and communion. Our musical style could be described as acoustic rock, finding value in both modern hymns as well as contemporary praise songs.

What if I am hearing impaired?

We have hearing assistance devices available. Ask an usher as you come in and they can take you to our sound tech to help you with the device. We also have sign language interpretation available during our  service at the front on the left side of the Sanctuary.

What does NPC believe?

We believe that we are all sinners without hope except for the salvation offered through Jesus Christ. We are theologically reformed and our beliefs are consistent with our denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America. For more specifics, check out What We Believe or our denomination's site.

Can I take Communion?

All who profess faith in Jesus Christ and dependence on Him for eternal salvation and are a member at an Evangelical church are welcome to take communion. Due to COVID, we are currently serving prepackaged communion elements.

How do I get connected?

Check out Learn More for opportunities to learn more of what NPC is all about.
We have many communities all of which are always welcoming newcomers! Check out our Ministries page to see opportunities to connect for all ages.

Martin Luther once wrote: "This life, therefore, is not righteousness but growth in righteousness, not health but healing, not being but becoming, not rest but exercise; we are not yet what we shall be, but we are growing toward it; the process is not yet finished, but it is going on; this is not the end, but it is the road; all does not yet gleam with glory, but all is being purified.” The conviction that we all need to continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ, no matter where we are on our journey of faith, undergirds our Discipleship Hour at NPC. We have great classes for everyone, from kids to adults, to help us along this road. Please join in!
