Naperville Presbyterian Church desires to assist people in the community in practical ways. We want to create space for men, women and children to serve using their abilities to care for others and glorify God. To fulfill this mission, we have partnered with several community organizations that provide services to those in need.

Feed My Starving Children
Feed My Starving Children is committed to feeding God's starving children hungry in body and spirit. NPC partners with FMSC in Aurora to pack nutritious meals made up of rice, soy, vitamins and dehydrated vegetables, and FMSC partners with Christian relief organizations worldwide to distribute these meals to starving children. In 2012, FMSC packed over 162,000,000 meals for worldwide distribution.

Northern Illinois Food Bank
The mission of NIFB is to provide nutritious food to all those in need through its efforts and those of over 600 partner agencies in the following 13 counties: Boone, DuPage, DeKalb, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, Ogle, Stephenson, Will and Winnebago. NIFB acquires, gathers, handles, and distributes more than three million pounds of donated, government, and purchased food each month through local food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, youth activity centers and other food assistance sites.

Rebuilding Together - Aurora
Rebuilding Together Aurora (RTA) provides free home repair and rehabilitation services to low-income homeowners in Aurora, especially seniors, individuals with disabilities and families with children. Through its programs, Rebuilding Together is able to provide repairs including, but not limited to: roofing, plumbing, electrical, windows, painting, landscaping, energy efficiency upgrades, ADA modifications, safety modifications and flooring.

Naperville Cares
Naperville Cares' mission is to provide resources to people within the Naperville community who need assistance to avoid homelessness and to attain self-sufficiency. For families facing an economic crisis, the organization makes referrals to private and government agencies that provide financial and nonfinancial resources. When assistance is not available through other agencies, CARES provides emergency financial assistance to help pay for basic needs like housing, utilities and transportation.

Loaves & Fishes
Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry has served the Naperville area since 1984. More than 600 families per week and over 110,000 people were served last year and 3,200,000 pounds of food were distributed to families in need. With the opening of its new pantry at 1871 High Grove Lane in Naperville, Loaves & Fishes is able to offer new support services to its community families in need, including assistance with nutrition programs, tax preparation, English language skills, job search and career planning.

Caring Network
Founded in 1981 as part of the nationwide Christian Action Council movement, Caring Network's mission is to serve Jesus Christ by working to prevent unplanned pregnancies, and by providing emotional support, spiritual counsel, and practical help to anyone dealing with the effects of an unplanned pregnancy. NPC supports two local Caring Network affiliate organizations. Pregnancy Services of DuPage (Naperville office) and Pregnancy Information Center (Aurora) both receive financial and volunteer assistance.

Wayside Cross Ministries
A Christ-centered shelter for men and women in Aurora, the organization has evolved from one ministry to six distinct, vibrant, Bible-based, Christ-centered ministries focused on transforming lives of men, women, youth and children in the greater Chicagoland area. Lifespring Ministry is Wayside's long-term transitional living program for homeless women and women with children, who have lost their housing due to addiction, abuse or financial reasons. NPC has been supporting Lifespring in a variety of ways over the past 10+ years.

Operation Christmas Child
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world and, together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News. One way the ministry does this is through the distribution of donated shoe box gifts. NPC has been involved with Operations Christmas Child since 2000. Since that time, we have collected over 7,000 shoe box gifts, which have been sent all across the world to places like India, the Phillippines, Mongolia and Kenya.

Green Harvest
Green Harvest is a not for profit organization that serves Will, Kendall and Dupage county residents in need of food.
Pregnancy Information Center
Pregnancy Information Center helps people who are facing unplanned pregnancies. Medical services include pregnancy tests, ultrasounds and STI/STD tests and treatment (available to women and men). PIC also has an Education Center where you can take parenting classes and receive diapers and other necessities for baby. All PIC services are free and confidential.
