Discipling Our Middle Schoolers

The middle school years are pivotal. Throughout this time, just below the surface lie the big questions: Who am I, and who do I want to be? What really matters? Is there more to Christ than the story book Jesus? What does faith in Christ have to do with my real life, anyway? Through our middle school ministry, we want to help our students know, trust, and delight in Christ. Jesus isn’t only the theoretical answer to the big life questions. He’s a real Savior for real sinners and sufferers, worthy of our deepest trust and our highest joy.

Youth Group

Being serious about the Bible and having serious fun aren't mutually exclusive. At youth group, we do both. We play games, sing gospel songs, and study the Bible together, all toward the end of knowing, loving, and rejoicing in Christ. During the school year, youth group meets on Sunday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. Youth group is off for the summer. We will return on September 8.

Bible Study

God's Word is food for our souls (Matthew 4:4), the light by which we see (Psalm 119:105), a sword that pierces our hearts (Hebrews 4:12). It is our very life (Deuteronomy 32:47). That's why we study the Bible. Summer Bible study begins on June 5, 6-7:45. Dinner is included.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday morning worship is the beating heart of the Christian life. That's why our students join in our corporate worship. In additional to corporate worship, on Sunday mornings we're working through the Westminster Shorter Catechism in our middle school discipleship class. Class meets after the first service, at 9:50 a.m.  Class continues through June 9, then is off for the summer. Fall class begins on September 8.
